Plaza Recognizes ‘National Social Work Month’, Offers Program for Social Workers

With March being ‘National Social Work Month’, we wanted to acknowledge and give a big thanks to all the amazing social workers, especially those hospice and palliative care social workers, who serve the community everyday with end of life care support to patients and families.
 
Plaza is also proud to support social workers, throughout our 15 years of serving the community. Part of Plaza’s mission is to provide programming and support to those giving end-of-life care, including hospice and palliative care social workers. Since 2001, Plaza has sponsored over 14 conferences dealing with bereavement and loss, which have been attended by scores of social workers from the community. Plaza also offers an educational program for social workers called ‘Jewish Beliefs and Rituals for Death and Dying’.
