This privacy policy governs your use of The Jewish Funeral and Yahrzeit Memorial App. ("Application") for mobile devices that was created by Plaza Jewish Community Chapel.
The App includes the following features, functionality and content:
This app provides an easy way to know when and how to commemorate family members or friends who have died. The Jewish Funeral and Yahrzeit Memorial App will provide directions to the Cemetery, or to the Funeral Chapel from your current location.
In addition, there is a "Prayers and Meditations" section that can be referenced for a parent, a sibling, child or a friend.
You can also receive push notifications for the yearly Yahrzeit and Yizkor dates, for each memorial you create in the app.
The app is also a resource for Jewish Funeral customs and etiquette, as well as for links to websites that may be helpful.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
This app gives the user an option to have 'Push Notifications' sent to their iPhone to alert them of an upcoming Yahrzeit, or Yizkor dates. Notifications are set to off by default in our app, but can be turned on, from the 'Accounts' page.
This app also uses Apple Maps, to navigate user from current location to users selected location. The app does not share this information with any third parties. Application obtains user consent before using current location
User Provided Information
In order to use the Application users are required to register by entering their name, email address and password.
We may use the information you provided us to contact your from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
You can delete your Account and all stored information in the 'Account' will be deleted.
Automatically Collected Information
The Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, and the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
The application does not share its information with any third parties

We will retain user inputted data for as long the Application is in use. If user created account is deleted by user, all associated data will be deleted from server.
Children
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at [email protected]. We will delete the account and it’s associated data from our files within a reasonable time.
Security
We value the protection and the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and policy related measures to protect user information and associated data. This information is only available to authorized data center and programming resources that require access in order to operate develop or improve our Application. Note that although we endeavor provide reasonable security for the user information we store, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
